The Archbishopric of Toledo has expressed its support for the alleged victim of a case of abuse by a priest and is “waiting for the final resolution”, after learning that in the first judicial instance the priest has been sentenced to 7 years in prison. jail.
In its note, the Archbishopric affirms its respect for “the ruling of the competent judicial authority, which is not yet final,” and foresees that there will be “further judicial actions, since both parties expressed their willingness to appeal the ruling if it were unfavorable to their cause.”
