This trip to Milan will be remembered for a long time by the more than 4,300 Parisian supporters who crossed the Alps to encourage Paris Saint-Germain. For better, as for worse: it began with what could easily have turned into drama, with a proper settling of scores between Parisian and Milanese supporters in Milan, before finally returning to what makes the essence of supporterism, sharing and atmosphere.

Monday evening, in the Navigli district, a few Parisian supporters were enjoying a meal when around a hundred individuals dressed in black, who we saw in Paris two weeks earlier, arrived to spoil the party. “At first we thought it was the cops, but in fact they were equipped with crowbars. They started putting out smoke bombs and we realized that they were Rossoneri supporters,” says Michel, who witnessed the scene.

During a very violent clash between these supporters of the two clubs who hardly liked each other, a Parisian fan was seriously injured with two stab wounds to the leg. Hospitalized, he was operated on and his life is not in danger. The police were able to intervene quickly and the Milan club strongly condemned the facts.

No overflows around the stadium

Fortunately, these tensions did not continue this Tuesday, a much more festive day for the Parisian supporters who took over the center of the city of Milan, where they stood out for the atmosphere they created. On Duomo Square, a famous Milanese tourist spot, supporters and ultras met in the afternoon before heading towards the stadium. To the sound of songs and the light of smoke bombs, the Parisians prepared for their arrival at San Siro in the best atmosphere.

Parisian supporters were able to get to San Siro thanks to three metro trains reserved for them, thus avoiding a mix-up with local supporters which could have gone badly. Although a handful of Parisian supporters were blocked for more than 40 minutes at the entrance to the stadium, no violent outbursts were noted around the enclosure, with the exception of a few agricultural bombs heard and a fire. fireworks fired outside the stadium.

It must be said that the Milanese had another enemy inside the stadium: Gianluigi Donnarumma, greeted by a shower of fake tickets bearing his image and by a memorable bronca, punctuated by insults. In this context and in a stadium renowned for its atmosphere, 4,300 Parisian supporters were needed to make themselves heard.
