Milan suffered a heavy defeat against Parma with a score of 2-1, as the “Rossoneri” clearly appeared inferior to the occasion, unable to take anything from the game.
Milan found itself trailing early on, and despite a temporary equalizer, Parma managed to score again and secured a great victory, leaving the Rossoneri in a state of introspection as they remain without a win in the league.
The match started nightmarishly for Milan, with Dennis Man scoring just 2 minutes into the match after a superb control inside the box, shooting after first evading his personal opponent. Naturally, the Milan players tried to respond, but they failed to create any clear chances in the first half hour.
From then on, Milan had two consecutive chances from Okafor and Pavlovic, but the opposing goalkeeper was ready. Until the end of the first half, the “Rossoneri” failed to pose any significant threat again and inevitably went into the dressing rooms with a goal weighing on their shoulders.
In the second half of the match, Reinders came very close to restoring the team’s morale with a goal in the 47th minute; however, unfortunately for him, the shot he attempted crashed against the crossbar. Of course, in the 60th minute, Boni scored to make it 2-0, reversing the emotions, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
Since Milan did not find themselves two goals down for the second consecutive match, Pulisic managed to equalize 6 minutes later, finishing off a chance closely after an assist from Leão. The joy did not last long, as instead of making a comeback, Parma ultimately scored again through Matteo Kanceliari, who calmly shot from inside the box into the left corner of Menyan.
Milan, of course, fought to equalize again, but their efforts did not bring about a change and understandably they lost, with the Italian team remaining without three points for the second game in a row.
It should be noted that Lazio also suffered defeat, with Udinese ultimately prevailing 2-1 with Gustav Isaksen being the hero, as he gifted the victory to his team in the 90+5.
