On Monday, Aftenposten reported that Marius Borg Høiby (27) no longer has access to the Crown Prince Couple’s residence at Skaugum.
The newspaper has been informed by several sources.
Høiby lives in a house at the edge of the forest at Skaugum in Asker, just a few hundred meters from the main building of the estate, where the Crown Prince Couple has their private residence.

His house is thus outside the most strictly guarded part of the property. Previously, Høiby had access to the main house, but Aftenposten has learned that he has now lost this access.

Criminal Friends at Skaugum
Se og Hør reported earlier in October that Borg Høiby recently destroyed a house and committed vandalism at Skaugum, which the Crown Prince Couple and security detail were aware of.
As a result of these revelations, his access to the property has reportedly been restricted.
PARTY: Marius Borg Høiby is also said to have gathered his friends for parties and fun. These evenings have reportedly been referred to as the “Skaugum festival” among the friend group, according to Se og Hør.

The magazine has also claimed to have documentation that several individuals with significant criminal records have been on Skaugum – both in Marius’s own residence and in the Crown Prince Couple’s private apartment.
It is alleged that valuable items with both high monetary and sentimental value to the Crown Prince family were stolen, according to the magazine.

A survey from earlier in October showed that a clear majority believes that Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s eldest son should move out of the Crown Prince Couple’s property at Skaugum in Asker for safety reasons.
Charged with Violence
Marius Borg Høiby was arrested and detained on August 4 following an incident of violence in an apartment in Frogner, Oslo. Ten days later, he admitted to using violence against his ex-girlfriend while under the influence of alcohol and cocaine.
In early September, Høiby received a restraining order against the woman, which is valid until March 2025. A few days later, on Friday, September 13, he was arrested again, this time at a cabin in Gausdal, where he was on a trip with friends.

The police believed he had violated the restraining order, which Høiby himself has denied.
The day after, he was charged with two counts of domestic violence and one threat of murder. His lawyer, Øyvind Bratlien, stated about two weeks ago that Høiby acknowledges guilt in accordance with his previous statement and for a threat against another man, but he does not acknowledge guilt for the other charges.
