Internet was turned off all over Kazakhstan

The Internet was cut off throughout Kazakhstan on January 5 in the midst of protests in the country. They began after a sharp increase in the price of liquefied gas. Subsequently, the protesters put forward a number of political demands. To suppress the protests, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev called for help from the forces of the CSTO.

The previous time, the wired Internet in Nur-Sultan was restored the day before. However, after a while, the Internet disappeared again.
