The construction site is under seizure
The former mayor of Jovençan, Sandro Pepellin, died in the accident at work that took place this afternoon on a construction site in Gressan. Pepellin, 70, was the owner of the construction company. He was hit by a concrete slab that he was unloading together with a seriously injured worker.
Pepellin was transported to the Parini hospital in Aosta but did not make it: shortly after hospitalization he died.
The injured worker is Velio Dal Dosso, 51 years old. He is hospitalized with a reserved prognosis.
The construction site is now under seizure.
