The daughter (14 months) of a tourist couple from Holland is up Mallorca died in a dramatic accident.
The little girl was hit on the head by an object in front of a hotel on Friday. On Saturday he died of his serious injuries in the university clinic in Palma.
The police said that the accident was being investigated.
Initially, several media had unanimously reported that the girl had been killed by a roof tile. But now it became known: In fact, the roof of an animation stage collapsed and hit the child.

According to reports, the accident happened on Friday in the seaside resort of Cala Ratjada in the northeast of the Spanish holiday island: The family sought refuge from a downpour on the stage of the aparthotel.
The rain would have accumulated more and more water on the roof of the stage – then it collapsed.
With a severe traumatic brain injury, the little girl was then taken to the intensive care unit at the Son Espases clinic.
The rain was very heavy on Friday in the northeast of the Mediterranean island. It also led to a brief power outage in Cala Ratjada. According to official information, 60 liters of water per square meter fell from the sky within just half an hour.
