Accompanied by hundreds of policemen: watch the march of Maccabi Haifa fans in Paris

by time news

Four hours before the opening whistle at the Stade de France stadium in Paris, thousands of Maccabi Haifa fans organize a march through the streets of the city – beginning at Concord Square and ending, of course, upon arrival at the field.

About 1,000 policemen will be stationed in the Parc de France tonight in light of the high alert and the fear of conflicts and disturbances, but hundreds of policemen are also marching alongside the Maccabi Haifa fans out of fear that the ultras of Paris Saint-Germain will try to harm them during the procession.

As you know, for the benefit of Maccabi Haifa fans, 1,650 tickets were allocated by Paris Saint-Germain, although this is a smaller amount than required according to UEFA rules, and this is due to the demand of the law authorities in France.

Maccabi Haifa tried to fight the decision and appealed to many parties along with a complaint to UEFA, but nothing could be done and therefore many of the marchers in the procession have tickets for the Paris Saint-Germain stands and they will have to remove any green marker upon their arrival at the field.
