Popular Indian Bengali TV serial actress Anumita Dutta and her mother were beaten up. After this incident, the actress approached the Calcutta High Court without getting the help of the police.
According to an Indian media, Anumita Dutta became known by acting in several TV serials including ‘Panch Pandav’, ‘Saathi‘. Two days ago, Anumita was going to her sister’s house in Howrah Dom along with her parents. The incident started with their car parked in front of a shop across the dome.

Anumita objected when the shopkeeper stopped the car from parking in front of the shop. He argued that this area is not a no parking zone. The shop is not crowded. So Anumita objected to move the car. Meanwhile some people came and attacked Anumita and her mother. Anumita alleged that the mother was dragged by the fistfuls of her hair and taken to the street. Then he was also beaten.

Anumita Dutta said, ‘Parents were buying moglai. The shopkeeper told them to park the car a little further. Then a shopkeeper very rudely asked not to park the car. I said, I will leave in just five minutes. But, they didn’t listen to anything. My driver moved the car to avoid trouble. But, another person said, cars cannot be parked there either. My mother did not know this. He was talking to the driver. Then said bad words to the mother.’

Anumita later went to the police station while injured and complained. But the police refused to take the complaint. After going to the hospital after first treatment, they were told verbally that a case has been filed. But Anumita said that no copy of the case was given. Then he approached the High Court. Later the court ordered to take up the case. The report also informed that the hearing date of this case has been fixed for next Monday.
