jpnn.comJAKARTA – Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Mendes PDT) Yandri Susanto, denied accusations that he played a role in winning his wife Ratu Zakiyah in the Serang Regency Pilkada.
Yandri Susanto’s alleged involvement was postulated by the Legal Team for the Regent-Deputy Regent Candidate Pair Andika-Nanang, in a lawsuit over the dispute over the results of the general election (PHPU) of the Serang Regency Pilkada at the Constitutional Court (MK).
Yandri allegedly gathered village heads (kades) in Serang Regency to win his wife in the Serang Pilbup.
According to Yandri, everything postulated in the PHPU at the Constitutional Court regarding his role in winning Zakiyah-Najib is not true.
“It must have been made up, because I was not yet Village Minister at that time. Then I was no longer deputy chairman of the MPR,” said Yandri in Serang, Friday (10/1).
Nevertheless, Yandri did not deny that he had been in a forum with village heads throughout Serang Regency.
“I was not the one who gathered the village heads. However, I was invited to provide direction so that there is no more corruption in Banten so that development is good,” he said.
“So, what they (Legal Team for Candidate Pair Number 1 Andika-Nanang) conveyed is everything. It doesn’t match the facts,” added Yandri.
