Acer introduced a laptop with a case made of plastic debris

by time news

Acer has unveiled the Aspire Vero laptop, which is made from recycled plastic. On sale in North America, the gadget appeared in the top version, costing from $ 900. By the end of October, a version with a less powerful processor will enter the market, which will cost from $ 700.

The plastic debris was used not only to create a paintless case for the device, but also for the keyboard and laptop accessories – the Asus Aspire Vero bag and box are made from recycled materials and are completely recyclable themselves. The letters R and E highlighted in yellow on the keyboard refer to the principle of Review, Rethink, Recycle and Reduce.

In the maximum version, the novelty, equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD display (1920 × 1080 pixels), can have an Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor, Intel Iris X graphics, up to 16 GB of RAM and an SSD drive up to 512 GB. There are USB Type-C and two USB 3.2 connectors, as well as an HDMI output.
