Acer launches the world’s first 17-inch Chromebook

Acer has unveiled the Chromebook 317, the world’s first 17-inch laptop with Chrome OS. The recommended price of the novelty is about 36 thousand rubles.

“This is the ideal size for users working and studying at home,” the company says in a press release.

The novelty has received a 17.3-inch display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) with anti-glare coating. For a surcharge, they will offer a version with a touch screen. The Chromebook is equipped with Intel Celeron processors and Intel integrated graphics. It can have up to 8GB of RAM and an eMMC drive of up to 128GB.

It is stated that the battery, the capacity of which is not disclosed, will provide up to ten hours of operation without recharging.
