Acer’s new 16-inch laptop is lighter than (Macbook) Air – Yalla Match

On most laptops, you can use one of two methods. Smaller, thinner, lighter, or larger, it always weighs more. But it doesn’t have to be. Acer’s new 16-inch laptop promises to be big and light.

The new Acer Swift Edge has a 16-inch OLED screen, but despite its hefty size, it weighs just 2.58 pounds, making it a really light PC, and it’s powered by Apple’s new M2 system. Lighter than MacBook Air. It’s also only 0.51 inch thick. Acer promises this will be the lightest 16-inch laptop. This makes it easy to carry despite the large screen. The screen itself has a 4K resolution, supports 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and delivers 500 nits of brightness.

Although the performance is low, it never lacks performance. This laptop is powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen PRO 6000 laptop chip based on Zen 3+ architecture, and is equipped with a Microsoft Pluton security processor to keep your files and personal information as safe as possible. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and various ports, including an HDMI 2.1 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C ports, two USB-A ports, and a headphone jack.

The laptop itself starts at $1,500. It’s definitely one of the best Windows laptops you can get for your money, and its thin profile means that it’s a great Windows alternative to the MacBook Air, and it has a big screen. Despite this, it should be surprisingly portable.
