(Ahmad Mansoor) Security forces acting on the basis of secret information in Kalat district of Balochistan killed 2 terrorists and recovered arms, ammunition and explosives.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), the security forces took action on the night of September 6 and 7 on the basis of secret information about the presence of terrorists in Kalat district. Encircled and took effective action, during which 2 terrorists were killed.
ISPR said that arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists and that these terrorists were involved in major acts of terror against security forces and innocent civilians in the area. In the announcement, it was said that action is underway to eliminate the presence of any more terrorists in the area.
The ISPR further said that the armed forces of Pakistan, along with its people, remain committed to rooting out attempts to sabotage the peace, stability and development of Balochistan.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif praised and encouraged the officers and personnel of the security forces for the successful operation against terrorists in Qalat. The terrorists involved in the atrocities have been sent to hell, Pakistan will continue its war against terrorism until the end of the scourge of terrorism, the entire nation, including me, is proud of the brave officers and men of the security forces participating in the war against terrorism.
