But given the technology used in the Activa 7G, it is possible. According to reports, Honda, which already manufactures and uses engines in hybrid technology, has used a new technology called Enhanced Smart Power for the Activa 7G.
That means the new Activa 7G is equipped with an electric motor with a separate battery. This battery scooter will charge automatically while running. It is also equipped with a petrol engine. When you start the scooter, the electric motor starts. Starting from ten to fifteen kilometers and going up to 40 kilometers, only the electric motor is used.
The petrol engine kicks in only when the speed goes above 40 kmph. So it is likely to get 40 percent more mileage as the petrol engine will be used only for long distance travel. So one liter of petrol gives a generous mileage of 100 km. The Activa 7G is said to be a preview of future fully electric scooters, but the price seems to be a bit high.
