The owner of the rights to the games Call of Duty, Diablo, Overwatch, World of Warcraft, etc. – Activision Blizzard – stops sales in Russia. This is stated in a company statement.

“Today we are announcing that Activision Blizzard is suspending new sales of our games in Russia while this conflict continues,” the post reads. The company has already sent $300,000 in financial assistance to Ukraine, the statement said.

Earlier, the sale of computer games in Russia was suspended by other game developers – Electronic Arts and ActiBlizz. EA has announced that it will be removing Russian teams from its football and hockey sims for a similar reason. In addition, the international marketplaces for PlayStation Store and Nintendo games reject user attempts to pay for purchases with Russian bank cards. Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities asked these platforms to leave Russia.
