Children’s Day Festival at the Erick Barrondo Sports Center
The Erick Bernabé Barrondo García Sports Center, formerly known as Erick Barrondo Park, in zone 7 of Guatemala City, will host a festival that will celebrate both children and adults. The event, which will take place on Tuesday, October 1 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, will feature a Chiquirrines Club showa fair of inflatable and children’s games. Admission is free, you can’t miss it!
Celebration at El Frutal Shopping Complex, Villa Nueva
The boys and girls of Villa Nueva will be able to enjoy a day full of free activities in El Frutal Shopping Complex. On October 1, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, children will be able to enjoy inflatable games, face painting, magical hairstyles, prizes and even cake.
Additionally, on Saturday, October 5, the celebration will continue with the Nancy and Chiquirrines Club show in Plaza El Arbol, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm, with free access for the public.
Celebration at La Aurora Zoo
The La Aurora Zoo will hold a special celebration with a purpose, where the funds raised with the price of admission will be donated for the treatments of boys and girls with burns at Fundaquem. The event will take place on October 5 and will feature face painting, live music, characters, crafts and many surprises for visitors.
Children’s Day Week at Sky Zone
Sky Zone, at its headquarters in Majadas and Cayalá, will celebrate the Children’s Day Week with the “Wonderland” theme. From October 1-6, the trampoline parks will offer special activities including costume parties, Glow Nights with live DJs, balloon twisting and more. The costume party on October 1 will be the opening event of a week full of entertainment for the little ones.

The Directorate of Popular Commerce has announced a series of celebrations in three locations in the Guatemalan capital.
