Actor Art Metrano, who played in the “Police Academy”, dies

American actor Arthur Metrano, known for his role as Lieutenant Mauser in the films “Police Academy”, died at the age of 85, according to the Hollywood Reporter. According to the artist’s son Harry Metrano, the actor died of natural causes at his home in Florida.

In addition to “Police Academy”, Arthur Metrano starred in films such as “They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?” (1969), Heartbreaker (1972), World History Part One (1981). He also played in the series, in particular, Starsky and Hutch (1975-1979), Fantasy Island (1977-1984).
