Kozhikode – Film, serial and theater actor Baburaj Vazhapilli (59) passed away. He died early this morning after being taken to a private hospital in Omassery due to a heart attack. A native of Thrissur Vazhapalli, Baburaj and his family have been living at Kuturu Chal near Koduvalli Manipuram in Kozhikode district for a long time.
He started his artistic career actively in the field of theater in Thrissur. Then he became active in movies and serials. He has played small and big roles in many Malayalam films like Android Kunjappan, CIA, Masterpiece, Gunda Jayan, Breaking News, Manoharam, Archana 31 Not Out. He also acted in many TV serials like Kayamkulam Kochunni, Minnuket, Nandanam, Ayyappanum Vavarum, Thacholi Othenan, Harichandanam, Kunjali Marakkar.
Baburaj has worked in all fields like acting, script writing, art direction, theater direction and light designing. Lived in Thamarassery and Porngottoor for some time. Later he settled in Kooturu Chal in Manipuram. Wife: Sandhya Baburaj (Actress), Son: Bishal. The cremation will take place today at 1.30 pm at Mankaw Public Cemetery.
