Actor Evan Ellingson, known for his role in “My Sister’s Keeper,” has passed away at the age of 35. According to Deadline, he was found dead in his home in Fontana, California. The San Bernardino County sheriff coroner’s office confirmed the news.

Director Nick Cassavetes, who worked with Ellingson on “My Sister’s Keeper,” expressed his grief on social media, writing, “My soul is crushed today. What a kid.”

Abigail Breslin, Ellingson’s co-star in “My Sister’s Keeper,” also paid tribute to the late actor on Instagram, asking the public not to speculate on the details of his death. She described Ellingson as a “kind, funny, and extremely talented human being” and expressed her belief that his “humor, exuberance, kindness and bright light will linger forever.”

Ellingson had been retired from acting since 2010 and his sudden passing has left fans and colleagues in shock. The circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed.
