Actor Nam Yoon-soo (27) donated a kidney to his father.
According to his agency Agency Garten on the 16th, Nam Yoon-soo had a kidney transplant surgery for his father on the 19th of last month. It is known that he has been preparing for the surgery by taking care of his health and halting his activities since the beginning of this year. Currently, both Nam Yoon-soo and his father have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
On this day, Eunpyeong St. Mary’s Hospital of the Catholic University of Korea reported the news through their official Instagram, saying, “Recently, at Eunpyeong St. Mary’s Hospital’s ‘Cardinal Kim Soo-hwan Memorial’ Organ Transplant Hospital, the ‘good cooking actor’ Nam Yoon-soo and his family were all smiles,” and “This is because Nam Yoon-soo donated a kidney to his father, curing his illness.”
