Veteran actor of Indian Bengali cinema, playwright Manoj Mitra’s health condition is critical. He was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata’s Salt Lake on Sunday (September 22). The veteran actor is undergoing treatment there.
Quoting hospital sources, TV Nine reported in a report that Manoj Mitra’s physical condition is more serious. Condition to provide ventilation support. But it will not be given. The heart is pumping 20-30 percent. The brain is not responding.
Manoj Mitra’s daughter Mayuri Mitra told TV Nine, ‘Father’s health is very bad; Critical condition. Hospitalized. We just returned from the hospital. My mother is also sick. He can’t speak. Mother is a dementia patient. My uncle died 20 days ago. So going through a very bad situation. The doctors said that the father’s heart is not working at all. Medicines have been given and there is support.’
85-year-old Manoj Mitra has been suffering from multiple physical problems besides old age problems for a long time.
