Chennai: Vijay Antony, 48, who was injured during the shoot in Malaysia, returned to Chennai yesterday.
Vijay Antony acted in many films including Salim, Pichaikaran. He is producing, acting and directing Pichaikaran-2.
Last week, the film was shot in Langkawi Island, Malaysia. In the fight scene on the boat, Vijay Antony escaped with injuries in a sudden accident. He was admitted to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur. After treatment, he returned to Chennai yesterday.
Regarding this, Vijay Antony’s party said:
Vijay Antony sustained a lip injury in the accident. After getting treatment for this, he started editing the film the next day. Reports that he was seriously injured are not true.
