According to reports, actor Vijay Devarakonda has been interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate for several hours today (Wednesday) morning.

Vijay Devarakonda starrer Ligar was released last August. Actress Charmi Kaur also produced the film along with director Puri Jagannath. Released as Pan India, the film starred American boxer Mike Tyson.
The film, which is said to have been made on a budget of 100 crores, has reportedly not collected even 30 percent of its budget. Actor Vijay Devarakonda came under heavy criticism for the film which was a box office failure.
Investment of hawala money
Meanwhile, there were complaints that hawala money from abroad had been invested in the film.
Subsequently, the Enforcement Department is investigating the complaint. Earlier, the film’s producers Puri Jagannath and actress Charmi Kaur were summoned and questioned.
