Actor Vivek Road: The road where Vivek’s house is located was named after him and the government recently issued a statement to that effect.
Vivek has been a comedian in the Tamil film industry for over 20 years. Introduced by director Shikhar Balachander, Vivek created his own style in his films with humor and ideas needed by the community. Thus his comedy scenes are still celebrated today.
Actor Vivek was awarded the Padma Shri in 2009 for excellence in the field of art. Apart from this, Vivek has won several state government awards for best comedian. Vivek, who had a lot of love and affection for former President Abdul Kalam, implemented a 1 crore tree planting project across Tamil Nadu.
Actor Vivek died of a sudden heart attack on April 17 last year. His sudden demise not only saddened the film industry but also his fans. Meanwhile, actor Vivek’s first anniversary was recently observed. The wife of actor Vivek, in turn, met Chief Minister MK Stalin and demanded that the road on which their house is located be named after Vivek.
Accepting his request, Chief Minister MK Stalin immediately took action and ordered that the road where Vivek’s house is located be named after him. The government has also issued a statement in this regard recently.
