The crime branch has issued notice to the accused to produce the phone. After the case, the accused including Dileep changed their phone. Dileep, Anup and Suraj Appu changed the phone. A forensic report is available on some of the digital equipment seized during the police raid.
A detailed report, including information and evidence obtained from the three-day interrogation, is due to be submitted to the High Court on Thursday. The statements will be evaluated after questioning led by top officials and a report will be prepared to be submitted to the court.

During interrogation, Dileep repeatedly denied allegations that he had conspired to kill the investigating officers and that he had captured footage of the actress being tortured at home. According to Crime Branch sources, Dileep had taken a negative stance when questioned, citing contradictions in his frequent statements.

The High Court had issued an interim order on Sunday, Tuesday and Tuesday to question the accused. Questions can be asked from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The court said the accused should fully co-operate with the investigation and take a tough stand if they intervene in the case. The court stayed the arrest of the accused till the 27th of this month. The DGP was also asked to submit a progress report on the investigation.
