Chennai: Meena’s husband Vidyasagar has passed away. Vidyasagar, a software engineer in Bangalore, had been undergoing treatment for a lung ailment for several years. By Tuesday evening, the situation was deteriorating and he was dead.
The disease worsened after Kovid was infected last January. He was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai a few days ago following a lung infection.
Doctors recommended a lung transplant, but the surgery was delayed because the organ donor was not available. Life was maintained with the help of a ventilator.
Meena and Vidyasagar got married in June 2009. She has a daughter, Nainika. Nainika played the role of Dalapati Vijay’s daughter in the movie ‘Theri’.
