(24News) The alleged kidnapping of actress Nimra Khan has taken place in Defense Phase 8 area of Karachi.
According to Sub Divisional Police Office (SDPO) Derakhshan Manisha Rupita, the incident was not an attempted kidnapping but an incident of harassment. The investigation revealed that the accused was the same. SDPO Derakhshan says that in recent days, women There have been two incidents of harassment, the accused in both incidents have been arrested.
In this regard, actress Nimra Khan says that she is satisfied with the performance of the police. He said that the police tried day and night to investigate and collect evidence. According to the police, this incident took place on Sunday, August 11 at 7:21 pm.
Nimra Khan revealed through a video on Instagram that she foiled her abduction attempt and the actress narrated the heartbreaking details of the abduction attempt to the users. While waiting for her, her family was coming to pick her up when the car got stuck in the traffic after which it started raining and she started waiting outside the hotel.
Nimra said that three armed men came and stopped the car near her, they tried to pull her by force and put her in the car. Nimra Khan said that one of them put a gun on my stomach after which I started screaming and resisted and ran away, when this was happening the hotel guards were in front but they didn’t do anything, I ran away, no one helped me, anything could have happened at that time they were behind. They could have shot me but I survived.
A CCTV video of the incident also surfaced in which the actress can be seen waiting for her car on the side of the road and then the above incident took place.
SDPO Darakshan Manisha Rupita released a video statement regarding the investigation and said that during the investigation it became clear that the accused was the only one who was riding the motorcycle, there was no other person with the accused, Manisha Rupita said. He said that the incident was a harassment and not an attempted kidnapping. He said that the route map of the accused in Nimra Khan case has been prepared, the search for the accused is going on, soon the accused will be caught by the police.
