Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai police on July 19 last year for making an obscene video and selling it on an ODD site. In February of the same year, the police raided and arrested 5 people, including producer Yasmin Khan, when they made an obscene video using models in Math Island, Mumbai and registered a case against them. After 5 months of investigation, it was revealed that actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was involved in making pornographic films. Subsequently, Raj Kundra was arrested and later released on bail. In this case, it was revealed that Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra were related. According to the police, Raj Kundra had created his own mobile app and posted obscene videos on it.
In this case, the police, who have been investigating the case for more than one and a half years, have filed a charge sheet. In it, “Businessman Raj Kundra, model Sherlyn Chopra, Poonam Pandey, producer Meeta Jhunjhunwala and cameramen have taken a room in a five-star hotel in the suburbs of Mumbai and made an obscene video and published it on various OTT sites. Also, Raj Kundra played an important role in producing and distributing obscene video,” the 450-page charge sheet names Raj Kundra, Raj Kundra’s employee Umesh Kamath, Sherlyn Chopra, Poonam Pandey, cameramen Raju Dubey, Jhunjhunwala, Banana Prime ODD site director Suvajit Chaudhary as accused. ODD site is said to have porn videos of Sherlyn Chopra, Poonam Pandey. Banana Prime ODD director Suvajith has been producing web series with obscene parts and releasing them on his site and Poonam Pandey has made his porn videos in five star hotels and made them on mobile apps with the help of Raj Kundra’s company. It has also been mentioned in the chargesheet that camera men Raju Dubey was shooting an obscene video of Sherlyn Chopra.
Writer Meeta Jhunjhunwala and Raj Kundra’s company have helped Sherlyn Chopra craft the story for the porn video. Similarly, Poonam Pandey has also entered into an agreement with Raj Kundra’s Arms Prime to create a mobile app called ‘The Poonam Pandey’ and publish her obscene videos on it, according to the charge sheet.
“Raj Kundra’s company has charged a substantial amount of money for making pornographic videos of models and actresses and publishing them on ODT platforms and mobile apps.
Some of the actresses who starred in the porn video have disappeared. They are being sought. Umesh Kamath was working as a manager in a London-based company called Hotshoot. Hotshoot is owned by Raj Kundra. “It was on this Hotshoot mobile app that Raj Kundra used to post many obscene videos,” the charge sheet also stated.
