Actress Vijayalakshmi Files Complaint Against Naam Tamilar Party Coordinator Seeman
Thiruvallur – Actress Vijayalakshmi, known for her debut in Tamil cinema with the movie ‘Friends’ alongside actor Vijay, has filed a complaint against Naam Tamilar Party coordinator Seeman. The actress alleges that Seeman cheated on her by marrying her.
Vijayalakshmi visited the Ramapuram Police Station in Chennai on the 25th of last month to file the complaint and seek action against Seeman. She also requested that the investigation into the suspended case be resumed. Koyambedu Deputy Commissioner Umaiyal interrogated the actress for approximately six hours at the police station, gathering vital details for the case.
Yesterday, Vijayalakshmi appeared before Judge Pavitra at the Thiruvallur District Mahila Additional Court, accompanied by heavy police security. She provided a statement during her time at the court, which lasted from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The actress also submitted documents and photographs related to the case to the judge.
During the court proceedings, Veeralakshmi, the head of Tamilan Munnetra Banda, addressed the media outside the court premises. Veeralakshmi emphasized the importance of arresting Seeman and stated that Vijayalakshmi had provided all the necessary documents to support her allegations.
Following the hearing, Vijayalakshmi left the court in Chennai under tight police protection. She then underwent a three-hour investigation at the Deputy Commissioner of Police’s office in Maduravayal. When asked by reporters about the trial, she responded with a smile and raised two hands in a victory gesture. She thanked the supporters and left for home in a car, accompanied by police protection.
