Adam Sandler Releases New Comedy Special “Love You!”
The renowned American actor, Adam Sandler, is back with a new comedy special titled “Love You!” premiering on Netflix next Tuesday, August 27th. This follows his successful debut with “100% Fresh” in 2018.
This new special is directed by Josh Safdie, known for his work on “Uncut Gems.” It will capture the meeting between Sandler and Safdie after the premiere of “Uncut Gems.”
The trailer features Sandler repeatedly saying “I love you!” to the audience, while the director’s camera movements hint at a connection to classic comedies like ”Good Times” and “Heaven Knows What.”
Sandler seems to be aiming to establish himself in the realm of comedy specials, while Safdie hopes to carve out his own space among renowned directors in the genre.
