New Delhi: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is preparing to establish a digital university in India. He also mentioned that expenditure on higher education and skill development in the country is very high. He said the aim is to significantly reduce the cost of education and ensure greater access. He stated these things while speaking at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
SCO is a permanent intergovernmental international organization comprising eight member countries including China, India, Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
It was mentioned in the function that more than one things are included in the project as part of implementing the digital university. Education will implement multiple entry and exit points. That means you will be given the opportunity to join and withdraw from courses. The aim is to improve the level of general education and skill education in the country.
