(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 13 AUG – The definitive agreement on additional regional resources for 2024 was signed today at the Burlo Garofolo Maternal and Infant IRCCS in Trieste. The signatories were CGIL, CISL and FIALS, while UIL and Nursind were against.
The “Final agreement on innovative projects in the sector area for the year 2024” establishes, as the unions report, a budget of 605,981.86 euros. At the beginning of 2024, the unions had criticized the new methods of assigning funds from the former Rar to the SSR companies, which had led to “a drastic cut” in funding for the Trieste and Gorizia area, putting the operation of the services at risk. The unions argued that the Rar had always financed increases in shifts, holidays, nights, tokens for recalls to service and shift changes.
“The respect of the commitments made on February 16 by the president of Fvg, Massimiliano Fedriga, and the health councilor, Riccardo Riccardi, who confirmed the allocation of the additional funding for personal accessory treatment, which for Burlo Garofolo is equivalent to 381 thousand euros, has allowed us to close this complex but satisfactory union agreement that confirms all the economic commitments present in 2023 between the employer and the unions”, observe Cgil, Cisl and Fials. “We cannot sign an agreement that has such an important aftermath as that linked to the state of agitation” and “the ongoing dispute with Burlo” on the shortage of nurses, explained Luciano Bressan, general secretary of Uil Fpl Fvg. Furthermore, there are points “unclear on the amount” made available by the Fvg Region and, he concluded, there are no guarantees for 2025. (ANSA).
