Adele interrupted her concert in Munich to watch, along with the tens of thousands of spectators who filled the arena of the German city, the women’s 100m race at the Olympic Games.

The 100-meter final, for both men and women, has historically been one of the most popular events at the Olympic Games. This year, in Paris, the women’s race was set to be special, with Julien Alfred giving Saint Lucia its first, and indeed gold, medal in history.

What happened at Adele’s concert in Munich was impressive, where the show was interrupted and the final was broadcast to the 80,000 people present in the arena.

In the final, Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia won the gold medal, while British athlete Neita missed the bronze medal by 4 centimeters, finishing in fourth place.
