rebuff for the queen…
Apparently Adele (34) can afford it: With her hits like “Rolling in the Deep” she made millions, grew into a pop diva and appears on the biggest stages in the world. Apparently even the seat of the British crown, Buckingham Palace, is no longer in her bag.
For the Queen’s platinum anniversary celebration earlier this month, the singer was asked to perform in front of the palace. But Adele canceled!

The platinum party was a big show as part of the Queen’s celebrations. Numerous international superstars performed at the celebration, including the band Queen, Rod Stewart (77) and Alicia Keys (41).
The concert planners seemed keen to ensure that Adele performed. After all: Adele received an MBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in 2013 – an order from the Queen for her services to music.
