ADÉMA-PASJ DECLARATION ON THE OCCASION OF THE COMMEMORATION OF THE 32ND ANNIVERSARY OF MARTYRS DAY (MARCH 26)
March 26, 1991 – March 26, 2023, our country celebrates the 32nd anniversary of Martyrs’ Day.
This 32nd anniversary recalls the memory of all the sons of the country killed in the quest for change, the establishment of democracy and integral multipartyism in Mali. The Malian nation, in all its components, must honor their memory and ensure that their sacrifice is never in vain.
On this occasion, ADEMA-PASJ would like to pay tribute to all those who fell on the battlefield for the advent of democracy in Mali.
These men and women of faith and commitment fought valiantly until the ultimate sacrifice.
May Allah bless our actions to honor their memory and their fight for peace and prosperity in Mali.
ADEMA-PASJ remains committed to the triumph of the ideals of March 26 and invites all the living forces of the country to mobilize as one man to ensure the happiness of all Malians and the economic and social development of Mali.
Adema-PASJ recognizes that since March 26, 1991, the country has made remarkable progress. However, there are still many challenges to be met, including the return to constitutional order after consensual political reforms and the organization of credible, transparent, inclusive and secure democratic general elections throughout the national territory.
This is why the party launches an urgent appeal to all the Living Forces of the Nation to support the Transitional Authorities in the process of political reforms undertaken and the organization of fair, transparent, inclusive and universally accepted elections, in order to continue to honor the memory of the martyrs of March 91.
