National award winner Om Rawat directed the Hindi film ‘Thanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’. Directed by him, the film ‘Aadi Purush’ is adapted from the story of Ramayana. The film, which will be released in several Indian languages, stars Prabhas of ‘Baahubali’ fame and Keerthy Sanon as the protagonist of the story. The film, jointly produced by T-Series and Retrofiles, will release worldwide on January 12 next year in IMAX, 3D format.
The teaser of the film was released recently. Ever since its release, the teaser has been facing trolls on the web. Adipurush Teaser is shown like the characters from the videogame and the bad animations are the reason for the trolls. Many fans shared the scenes of the film as memes on the web.
Meanwhile, a video of actor Prabhas angrily calling Adipurush director Om Raut to his room surfaced online recently. Fans misjudged the tone of the video and the response to the teaser saw Prabhas angrily calling the director to his room to rebuke him.
But sources close to actor Prabhas have clarified that there is nothing like that in reality. “Prabhas called Om Raut in the room only to discuss the promotions of the film amid the buzz. Nothing more. Prabhas was just consulting on how to do something special for his fans. Besides, reports of friction between Om Raut and Prabhas are categorically false and baseless,” the crew said.
