Adi Shan, the hero of the short film ‘Pillar No. 581’, written on the theme of current affairs, won the award for the best actor of the year at the Raw International Film Festival. He has been selected from the 5 to 50 minute endurance category. Pillar No. 581 is a film written and directed by debutant Muhammad Riaz, combining topical issues.
The movie is releasing in two languages Tamil and Malayalam. The jury judged that Adi Shan won the best actor award for winning the hearts of the audience with his outstanding acting skills and green life. Produced by Magazine Media, the film features renowned production controller Badusha and her daughter Shifa Badusha in pivotal roles. Zakir Hussain and Akhila Pushpagadhan are the other stars.
