Fans came to watch the film dressed up as the characters in Ponni’s Selvan directed by Mani Ratnam in Kumbakonam.
Director Mani Ratnam is famous as a famous director and producer in the Tamil film industry. He directed the movie Ponniin Selvan-1 based on the novel ‘Ponniin Selvan’.
The film stars Karthi, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and other leading stars. The movie released in theaters on September 30 and received huge response from the fans.
Ponni’s Selvan is the 4th highest grossing film in Tamil cinema so far. Meanwhile, in the scene that took place yesterday afternoon, fans came to the theater dressed up as characters including Nandini, Kundavai Paluvetaraiyar, Arulmozhi Varman Vandiyadevan and Aditha Karikalan on behalf of the Inner Wheel Club. Then fans took selfies with them.
