During this meeting chaired by the Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, the general director of ADM presented the results of the activity at the end of 2023, displaying several results, in particular an evolution of motorway traffic of 6% and toll transactions of 6.6% compared to the year 2022 and a stabilization of electronic toll collection at 58% compared to the 2022 level, ADM said in a press release.
ADM also notes an improvement in the quality of service to users, with an investment of 901 million dirhams (MDH) in tripling projects, modernization of motorway infrastructure and strengthening of safety devices, as well as an investment of 613 million dirhams in the maintenance and preservation of motorway heritage.
At the same time, the Board of Directors approved the corporate accounts and the consolidated accounts for the financial year ending December 31, 2023.
For ADM’s corporate accounts, the results show a turnover of 3,725 MDH with an increase of +10.1% compared to 2022 and a net result of 1,065 MDH, strongly impacted by favorable FOREX. Excluding this impact, the net result for the year is positive at MAD 353 million.
Concerning ADM’s consolidated accounts, according to international IAS/IFRS standards and interpretations, ADM revealed a net profit of 1,294 MDH, strongly impacted by favorable FOREX and a total balance sheet of 76 billion dirhams.
