Cuban Adolis García once again demonstrated his importance with the Texas Rangers, by getting his team’s 17th home run of the season.
In Tuesday’s game, the Texans played a tough game against the Los Angeles Angels, who fought until that hit by the Cuban, precisely.
The Rangers struck first in the game with a home run by Josh Smith, but Logan O’Hoppe tied the game for Los Angeles in the second inning.
In the third inning, Texas scored three runs that would put them ahead on the scoreboard, which at that point was 4-1 and everything seemed to be going swimmingly for the visitors.
However, the Angels reacted quickly in that same inning and added a couple of runs, once again putting the score at a close 4-3.
An inning later, O’Hope made an appearance and, just like his previous at-bat, drove the ball into center field, tying the game.
The game continued its course until the eighth inning, and it was then that Adolis García appeared and, showing off his power, hit the ball deep into the area between right and center fields, and with one swing, put his team back in the lead.
From then on, the Rangers team would never lose the lead again, whose replacement knew how to keep the rival offense at bay, with the final result of the match being 5-4.

With the win, the Cowboys remain in third place in the American League West, 5.5 games behind the Mariners. Second place is occupied by their regional rival, the Houston Astros.
