“Adopt your mayor”: the original initiative of an elected official from Val-d’Oise to meet residents

No tricolor scarf slung over his shoulder but a packet of peanuts in his hand. 7 p.m. sharp or almost this Thursday evening, a bell rings in a pretty pavilion in Mériel (Val-d’Oise) “Ah there it is! Good evening, come in,” invites the hostess. Behind the door: Jérôme François, the city’s mayor since 2020, blue suit and all smiles.
