Adoption by the Government Council of a draft decree relating to the decree establishing the National Press Grand Prix
Rabat – The Government Council adopted, Thursday in Rabat, a draft decree amending and supplementing the decree establishing the National Press Grand Prix, presented by the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid.
This is draft decree no. 2.24.366 amending and supplementing decree no. 2.03.729, promulgated on June 7, 2004, establishing the National Press Grand Prix, indicated the Minister Delegate for Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, during a press briefing following the Council.
This project, he said, aims to support and highlight the efforts of journalists, men and women, and to encourage them to raise the profession as well as the field of thought and culture, so as to contribute to the promotion of creativity in the Kingdom and this, in line with the objective of the creation of this Prize in 2004 in accordance with the High Royal Guidelines contained in the message addressed by His Majesty the King to the family of the press and the media, on November 15, 2002, on the occasion of the National Information Day.
