Tshikapa, April 20, 2023 (ACP).- The Kasai Provincial Assembly adopted, on Wednesday, the proposed edict on the financing mechanism for the fight against HIV AIDS in the Kasai province, during a plenary session.
After its examination, this proposed edict was adopted unanimously by the provincial deputies present in the room. Its initiator, provincial deputy Castro Ntumba Kambulu, said he was ”the happiest man for having succeeded in defending this edict, which his colleagues appropriated for the interest of the province.
« I’m the happiest man today because it’s not enough just to file a proposed edict, but you have to defend it before it’s passed. This is how the provincial elected officials voted for it. This reflects the interest we take in the issue of the health of the entire population of the province of Kasaï.“, said Castro Kambulu at the end of the plenary in the meeting room of the 27th Mennonite community in Congo, in the commune of Kanzala.
« Now adopted, this edict is added to the other legal instruments of the province. We hope that the mobilization and sensitization of the population will be organized at all levels, so that this parliamentary action will be popularized in all corners of the province, once promulgated by the provincial governor.“, concluded the elected representative of the Tshikapa territory.
