In June, the Health System Resources Administrator (ADRES) disbursed a total of $6.95 billion to ensure the provision of health services to Colombians.
Of this amount, $3.47 billion were allocated to members of the subsidized regime and $3.30 billion to those of the contributory regime.
ADRES made direct transfers worth $2.45 billion to 3,054 Health Service Providers (IPS) and suppliers, within the framework of the subsidized regime. In parallel, $1.96 billion were directed to 2,494 IPS and suppliers of the contributory regime.
In addition, in June, the entity transferred $127.8 billion to the EPS to cover general illness-related disabilities, $41 billion for disease promotion and prevention (PyP) activities, and $110.0 billion for the payment of 14,546 maternity licenses, 6,569 paternity licenses, and 178 guardianship rulings.

Balance of the First Semester of 2024
In the first six months of the year, ADRES recognized a total of $42.32 billion for the Per Capitation Payment Unit (UPC), distributed in $21.58 billion for the EPS of the contributory regime and $20.74 billion for those of the subsidized regime.
Additionally, during this period, ADRES paid $2.48 billion to the EPS to guarantee health services and technologies not covered by the UPC.
Increase in Direct Transfers
Of the total $44.8 billion transferred in the first half of the year, $19.52 billion were transferred directly to IPS and health service and technology providersOf this amount, $13.14 billion went to 3,494 IPS of the subsidized regime and $6.37 billion to 2,936 IPS of the contributory regime. This represents an increase of 88.82% in direct transfers to clinics and hospitals, compared to the same period in 2023, thanks to the implementation of Decree 489 of 2024.
