“It was a great victory and I am very grateful to the fans who came to support me from Monday to Sunday. That has given me strength. I just tried to be very focused on the game today and then on the tiebreaker, which was long”, commented the Catalan player.

The first win for Arnaus in the European elite, in a field that he knows perfectly, it comes after three years on the circuit and caressing it on several occasions and that will allow him to be among the top 50 in the ranking. It was the first win in 84 tournaments played by him on the circuit. He had finished second in Spain twice on the DP World Tour: at the Open de España 2021 and the Estrella Damm Andalucía Masters 2019 and this victory can take him to sixth place in the Circuit ranking.
