The Board of Directors of Shikun VeBinui today elected Adv. Doron Arbeli to the position of Chairman of Shikun VeBinui. Arbeli previously served as director of the Tax Authority and head of the Customs Administration at the Tax Authority and as CEO of the Postal Bank, and currently serves as a tax advisor to companies and organizations.
Arbeli has been an independent director of housing and construction since 2018 and will replace the current chairman, Tamir Cohen, who will continue in his position as CEO of the company. In this way, the company redistributes the positions of chairman and CEO, in accordance with the requirement in the Companies Law.
Cohen said today that “Arbeli is well acquainted with Shikun VeBinui and has been a partner in the significant moves made at the company over the past three years, and that he is confident that the company under Chairman Arbeli will continue to operate in a value-adding strategy for investors in all areas.”
Arbeli noted that he thanks the members of the board for choosing and trusting him, and that he is confident in the continued success of Shikun VeBinui.
