‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ are the two biggest Bollywood releases of the year. Both the films are going to be released on Friday 1st November on the occasion of Diwali. Both the films will hit the theaters after two days. But interestingly, the window for advance booking of both the films has not opened completely yet. Obviously the tussle between the two regarding screen sharing is still going on. Its effect is that till Tuesday afternoon, while advance booking is being done for only 453 shows of ‘Singham Again’, pre-sales booking is being seen only for 1850 shows of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. Producers are demanding maximum screen count to capitalize on a big occasion like this Diwali. Due to this tussle, the start of pre-sale has been delayed. Therefore there is not much movement in this. Advance booking of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, made under the banner of T-Series, had started a day before on Sunday. Whereas the advance booking of ‘Singham Again’, made under the banner of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgan, has started from 11 pm on Monday night.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ has earned Rs 84 lakh
Due to advance booking for more screens and its launch a day earlier, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is currently far ahead in the race. According to the report of sacnilk, till 12 noon on Tuesday, 32,841 tickets have been pre-sold for 1850 shows of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. From this the film has earned Rs 84.59 lakh.
‘Singham Again’ earned Rs 16 lakh from 453 shows
On the other hand, till Tuesday afternoon, 4520 tickets have been booked for only 453 shows of ‘Singham Again’, which started at 11 pm on Monday night. Ajay Devgan starrer film has made a business of Rs 16.47 lakh.
There may be further delay in opening advance booking
Advance bookings for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and ‘Singham Again’ are slowly opening. In fact, there has been no real agreement yet on screen sharing between the two films. This simply means that until this matter is resolved, the advance booking window will not open completely.
Where is the problem regarding ‘Singham Again’?
The distributor of ‘Singham Again’ is ‘PVR-INOX. It is understood that he will give prominence to his film in the multiplace chain. Here the screen share is going to be in the ratio of 60-40%. On the other hand, for single screen theaters it has been decided that they will give 50-50% screen share to both the films.
‘Singham Again’ Vs ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ on Diwali, both films will revive the box office, hope to return to glory
Script of cameo in Salman Khan’s ‘Singham Again’ leaked? If this really happens then whistles will not ring in theaters but will roar.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ has the upper hand due to ‘Pushpa 2’
Till now advance booking of ‘Singham Again’ has not started in ‘Cinepolis’ and other multiplex chains. The distributorship of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is with Anil Thadani’s AA Films. The same company is also the distributor of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’. According to an insider, no theater owner wants to get involved in this battle of screens as it may affect the shows they get for ‘Pushpa 2’, which is the next biggest release of the year.
