A match for strong nerves at the OPAP Arena between AEK and Panathinaikos in the summit derby for the 1st matchday of the Super League playoffs.
The two teams were tied at 0-0 with the greens remaining at the top and the result particularly favoring… Olympiacos and PAOK who won their own matches and came within striking distance of the top.
The derby, played in the shadow of the death of the great Mimi Papaioannou, was poor for the most part with both teams having few chances to score.
