AEK has reached an agreement with David Datro Fofana, according to Miguel Delaney. The 21-year-old forward will be acquired on loan with an option to buy, according to the same source.
AEK, one day after the announcement of Franzy Pierro, is very close to completing the transfer of David Datro Fofana from Chelsea, as claimed by one of the top journalists from the Independent, Miguel Delaney.
The two sides agreed on the player’s contract, as the 21-year-old forward (standing 1.82 m tall) will be loaned out with an optional purchase of 24 million euros (not obligatory).
Minutes after Delaney, Fabrizio Romano followed up, reporting the same terms of the agreement between the two parties.
The 21-year-old Ivorian forward has a contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2029. Last season, he played the first half of the season on loan at Union Berlin and then at Burnley. The Blues acquired him in January 2023 from Molde for 12 million euros.
